To introduce Art as a Healing method. Relax, take your time and place your focus on an Art project for an hour and a half. You decide the art media. Participants will find art naturally relaxing when used in the supporting environment of the Arts & Crafts Center. Art can provide great relief for anyone dealing with separation, sadness, anxiety, or anger and can boost self-esteem and confidence.

Do's:

  • Relax
  • Focus on your art project
  • Use your phone for ideas
  • Listen to music

Don'ts:

  • Rush your art
  • Make gifts for others
  • Waste art supply in the 1.5 hours given
  • Converse loudly with others
  • Talk on phone (Please take calls outside)

Art is better in a quiet environment. Try and complete a project in the given time.
