USO Concert (The War and Treaty)

The War and Treaty is a multi-instrumental band, featuring acclaimed husband-and-wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter. Their musical sound is described as “Southern Music Tradition” – a combination of Blues, Soul, R&B, Gospel, Country, Folk & Rock. They have opened for artists such as Al Green, Brandi Carlile, John Legend, Jason Isbell, Lauren Daigle, and Van Morrison. Internationally renowned for dynamic live shows, they have gained recognition from the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry and were named “2022 Duo/Group of the Year” by the Americana Music Association. Michael Trotter Jr. is an Army Veteran who taught himself to play a piano while deployed to Iraq.
